Well I know you know how I've been
I fly out that door and put on my McDonald's pin
Then I drive down about half a mile
Would you like fries with that and then service with a smile
You look troubled, friend, well have you had your break today?
Well I'm new and trying, but only if that's okay with you

My life is pretty norm, you know, as you can plainly see
But you don't, you stand, you wait, you glare, don't even look at me
So what is it that I have got that I want you to see?
It's simple friend, just check it out, I know that you'll agree

I think I know something you don't know
There's something big I'm trying to show
Jesus died to set man free
And I wear it like a T-Shirt, friend, so just label me

I've got a Jesus fixation 'cause I know I'm in with Him
I've got stuck to my guitar that don't know how to swim
I heard you say never, but forever's what He'l be
I don't mind it if you think that I'm a Jesus freak
So just go ahead and label me

I end up at my home church in around four times a week
And even though I'm getting old my favorite game's still hide and seek
So why won't you play with me, is it true you think I'm odd?
Now tell me is it really all that strange just to want to be right with God?
Just because of the things I do I know that you might think I'm wierd
But you're the one that thinks that God is dead, and that's the wierdest thing I've ever heared

So why all this confusion thinking God is just a joke?
It's a little much, now don't you think, 5000 years of hoax
And in this world of followers, and gurus, and liars
And money and dictatorship, I'm getting sick and tired

I think I know something you don't know
There's something big I'm trying to show
Jesus died to set man free
And I wear it like a T-Shirt, friend, so just label me

I've got a Jesus fixation 'cause I know I'm in with Him
I've got stuck to my guitar that don't know how to swim
I heard you say never, but forever's what He'l be
I don't mind it if you think that I'm a Jesus freak
So just go ahead and label me
